Sniping is not a sneaky trick! It’s just the way most long time eBay users place their bids. It won’t defeat a “deep pockets” bidder. In my opinion..knowing the past closing market price, identifying outstanding sellers (feedback), having PATIENCE and always searching will give you the items you want at a bargain price. There are no short cuts to a good deal!…its hard work. I always bid “below market” and EXPECT to loose more than I win. I still get the items I want over time.
